‘Let the games begin!’. EuroVision Lab workshop of the National Museum of Archaeology Lisbon/Portugal with students of the Escola Básica 2,3 das Olaias (Primary School) on 21st April 2016

On the 21st of April, students of the Escola Básica 2,3 das Olaias (Primary School), Lisbon, visited the exhibition “Roman Lusitania – Origin of two people” and participated in the EMEE hands-on activity “Let the Games Begin!”, at the National Museum of Archaeology.

After the guided tour, perfomed by the museum’s Education Department, the EMEE Portuguese team invited the students to discover some games from the Roman era, such as Tábula and Duodecima Scripta. After a brief contextualization and explanation of the rules of the games, the students were challenged to form teams and play!

It was a fun (and different) ending for a creative afternoon at the National Museum of Archaeology.
