‘Connecting and overcoming the boundaries between visitors and museums’: presentation of the EMEE project in the Museum of Contemporary History in Celje/ Slovenia on March 31st at 10:00

Museums are constantly forced to respond to new social changes and requirements. With its activities can contribute to improving social harmony and tuned to the society through cultural heritage, which is kept, recorded in the memory of people as a relevant contemporary institutions.

EMEE project deals with exactly this – empowering museums. Through a set of freely accessible manuals and experimental exhibitions eight European partners test new approaches to how to approach the (non-) visitors how to present the museum objects from different angles and to encourage cooperation between the museum.

The lecture will present the results and outcomes of experiments and suggestions for museums and their activities in the future.
